As part of ST-ART's effort to assist young Israeli artists, we are proud to help Bezalel MFA graduate Avshalom Suliman is his graduate exhibition.
Avshalom Suliman uses symbols and materials drawn from sculptural traditions from various places around the world. In his current exhibition, Suliman combines industrial materials such as aluminum poles and neon lightings with colorful glazed ceramic birds' heads, expressing a world which is divided by inner limits that dissolve in constant movement between geometric abstract and figuration, of manual, gas and electricity technique.
Similar to contemporary science fiction literature, the concept of imaginary future as suggests by Suliman, is melting the DNA of various types of past till they are unrepeatable.
The artist distinguish these things and points their mutual existence in a world that its limits only seem to be getting clearer and firmer.

Bezalel MFA graduate exhibition, June 6-8, Jaffa Port.
