my sculpturing process is a performance without an audience. My actions/sculpturing are both physical and analogical. It takes place in different Medias, space, photography and video. Choosing the materials starts with collecting remains from the past such as: Skeletons, asphalt and fossils that are brought into my studio, where I put them together and create new elements, Hybrids. Digging the objects from under the ground is about memory brought back to the surface. The Materials I choose have social and symbolic meaning. For example, asphalt is a contemporary material, representing the current period. Looking from the future back to our current era, asphalt will be the archaeological layer that stands for our period.
